IT Procurement / Sourcing - Cyber Security or Information Security

  • The IT Procurement / Sourcing Specialist With Cyber Security or Information Security across multiple Client businesses worldwide. Activities will vary from Contract Management, Supplier Management, and IT Procurement tasks.

 

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Assist with Contract Management Activities globally such as:
  • Project Management for Software Renewals
  • Documenting Contract Details/Descriptions across products and businesses
  • Standardizing and normalizing terms and conditions across businesses and products
  • Consolidating contracts across products and businesses
  • Ensuring Inventory reports are accurate across Client
  • Monitor and improve the cybersecurity of devices, applications, and services as they are acquired and integrated into utility operations, as well as efforts to manage supply chain risk

 

Support overall Supplier Management tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring Supplier data is accurate
  • Work with Supplier’s Accounts Receivable teams to ensure timely payments
  • Measuring supplier performance

 

Perform IT Procurement activities such as:

  • Validating appropriate pricing per agreements is established
  • Negotiate costs ensuring all business requirements and approvals are established
  • Store all documents associated with renewal, including pertinent emails
  • Process purchase orders and deliver follow up requirements

 

Qualifications/requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sourcing preferably with IT/Telecom sourcing experience or IT related contract management/analysis
  • ERP experience and knowledge (understand PO process, invoice/pay processes and routines)
  • Ability to understand financial reports and contractual language
  • Strong skills in tools and proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively influence & lead change
  • Controllership and compliance mindset (transactional and process integrity)
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

 

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with Cyber Security or Information Security
  • Demonstrated project management experience (develop, plan and manage execution to designed deliverables)
  • Experience managing global, shared service delivery in an outsourced supplier model (customer service, transactional processes, initiatives, reporting and metrics)
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate global time zones
  • Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily
